We used a couple of the days to go visit some of the local breweries and wineries that the region had to offer. The wineries were very good, and we did a few tastings at each stop. Can’t say I like wine better then beer but after the little course on drinking wine I think I would at least know what type of wine to order if I was getting some. The brewery was very good, as we sampled all of their beers and then had some of their wood fired pizzas. I could say going to breweries and having a couple of beers and food is one of my favorite things to do. It was very nice country that the places were in, with vineyards all over the place. Plus we were only a short distance inland from the Indian Ocean.
